ANIMAL FACILITY

Mice are housed in a semi-closed facility. Limited personnel has access to the facility and has to respect strict sanitary rules as defined by Jackson Laboratories. Equipment, food and drinks are sterilized. Animals are regularly screened for detection of pathogens according to FELASA recommendations.
 

Transgenic mouse lines generated at the platform are housed in the facility until weaning. Platform users are then requested to take charge of their mice in another facility. Genotyping is the responsibility of users.
