Many undergraduate students in biology, bio-engineering, pharmacy or biomedical sciences, find a place in one of the many laboratories of the Institute during their Master studies. Here they are involved in exciting research projects, which offers a first-class environment to write their Master thesis (mémoire). It is here that they receive all the appropriate training in research and get the necessary practical laboratory experience required for a further career as a scientific researcher, either within the University or the industry.
Students willing to perform their Master thesis work in one of the laboratories of the de Duve Institute are advised to refer to our RESEARCH pages for information about the research topics of the different groups.
After selection of one or several research themes, students should contact, well in advance, the head of the laboratory of their choice.
