If you want to make an online donation, it is very simple and perfectly secured. You have the possibility to pay with Bancontact or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Apple Pay).

Wire Transfer Donation
If you want to make a donation via bank transfer, it can be done on the account of the de Duve Institute with the communication "DONATION" and, optionally, the beneficiary (research group, person or therapy).
Wire transfers are better suited for bigger amounts.

Tax Deductibility
In Belgium, every donation above €40 is tax-deductible up to 45%. An annual tax certificate will be sent to you.
The de Duve Institute is registered as a so-called "ANBI institute" by the authorities in The Netherlands (registration number 8257.68.755). The Dutch abbreviation ANBI means "Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling", or "Public Benefit Organization". Institutions can only be qualified as a public benefit organization if at least 90% of their efforts are focused on the common good. Donations by Dutch nationals to an organisation with ANBI status are tax deductible.
