You can make a gift or a bequest to foster biomedical research at the de Duve Institute.
Your donations will mainly finance our post-doctoral fellowship program which strenghtens and promotes the worldwide cooperation network of the de Duve Institute. You may also make a donation for a specific research area or team. It's up to you.

Make a bequest
The de Duve Institute may, upon authorization by the Department of Justice, accept bequests. Bequest may include all your assets (universal bequest) or only a part of your assets (specific bequest). Inheritance taxes are low and depend upon the last legal address of the deceased.
Benefits of a dual bequest...
Pay less inheritance taxes?
You have no children and you are willing to leave your assets to relatives or third parties? Or you have children and substantial assets? In either cases, a large part of your assets will go to the government via substantial inheritance taxes that your heirs will have to pay.
"Dual bequests" allow you to reduce the inheritance taxes for your heirs.
