    EQUIPMENTS

    The facility provides :

    - cell sorting with state-of-art high speed sorter FACS ARIA III, available by appointment
    - unassisted benchtop analysis available 24/7
    - assisted benchtop analysis available by appointment
    - theoretical and pratical training on benchtop analyzers (LSR Fortessa and FACSVerse)
    - training on FlowJo analysis software
    - consultation on experimental design, realization and data interpretation
    - weekly technical maintenance of the devices and daily troubleshooting

    The facility is equipped with one cell sorter and two analyzers, all from BD Biosciences.

     

    FACSARIA III Cell Sorter and Diva software

    Excitation sources : 405nm (violet laser), 488nm (blue laser), 561nm (yellow-green laser) and 633nm (red laser)
    Detection : FSC/SSC and 16 fluorescence parameters (6V/2B/5YG/3R)

    This cell sorter is equipped of 70µm, 85µm and 100µm nozzles.
    Sorting can be performed on 12*75mm tubes, eppendorfs, Falcon 15, plates (i.e. 96 wells plate) or slides.
    A maximum of 4 populations can be sort at the same time.
    The device is equipped of a waterbath, thus sample and collection tubes can be maintained from 4°C to 32°C throughout the sort.
    Sort cannot be performed under sterile conditions because the device is not placed under a hood, however sort are performed in appropriate conditions for the sorted cells to be maintained in normal culture conditions.

     

    FACSVerse and FACSuite software

    Excitation sources : 405nm (violet laser), 488 nm (blue laser) and 640nm (red laser)
    Detection : FSC/SSC and 8 fluorescence parameters (2V/4B/2R)
    It is equipped with the universal loader.

    LSR Fortessa and Diva software

    Excitation sources : 405nm (violet laser), 488nm (blue laser), 561nm (yellow-green laser) and 639nm (red laser) 
    Detection : FSC/SSC and 16 fluorescence parameters (6V/2B/5YG/3R)
    It is equipped with the HTS plate-reader.

    Analysis Station

    The facility is also equipped with an analysis station, available to all, for flow cytometry analysis of your data with FlowJo software.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    FLOW CYTOMETRY AND CELL SORTING
